Responsible and transparent

„delfine therapieren menschen“ is a recognized not-for-profit organization. Therefore, donations to our organization and associate memberships are tax-deductible. We handle your donations responsibly and transparently. Keeping the percentage of administrative costs as low as possible is of major importance to us. On average, administrative costs accounted for 13,18% relative to the total of our material and monetary donations. This keeps us far below the share of 30% considered justifiable by the Deutsches Zentralinstitut für soziale Fragen (DZI), the German authority on social work and charitable organizations.

How are we able to keep that percentage this low? Volunteer work is part of “delfine therapieren menschen”. Our Parent Council takes on an important role in this. In addition, the way our organization is structured helps us keep costs low. We are a small aid organization and manage well without a large administrative overhead. Our advantage: We are able to react fast and on a very personal level.
But what’s more: At “delfine therapieren menschen”, our qualified staff are able to fully support families with their expertise and professionalism, because this and no less is what every person expects when they approach us.
